Where could this place be?

						  Dear Readers,
Try and imagine the places decribed below and take a guess on where these could be
A pantry or coffee room full of randomly placed copiers, printers, paper, pantry supplies, and yes a coffee machine. Two broken refrigerators with stains all over. Once in a while someone spills milk and it keeps stinking for weeks! Because, neither the refrigerators nor the pantry room has regular cleaning service. The work areas are not cleaned either! There are supply shortages, when there is coffee, there are no cups; if there are cups, there are no stirrers or sugar or something else. No this doesn't happen everyday but it does happen frequently. Recently a mouse was found near one of the desks and old-timers claim this is not an oddity. The work desks get cleaned only if the 'worker's clean, the office has no arrangement ...
Contrast that with another place ...
A spanking clean office, cleaned several times a day. Clean pantries with freshly brewed coffee replenished regularly. Work areas are cleaned daily by professionals and you could not spot a paper lying or food crumbs ...
I could go on and on .. the point is - where could these places be? Clearly, one of this is in a developing country and one in a developed, but is it clear which !!
The dirty office is found in many places in the New York City in the largest and most profitable Wall street companies and banks! The cleaner offices are the new generation offices in India! The 'workers' in the dirty offices earn average incomes of over $100,000, those in India earn a a fraction ...
It set a chain of thoughts in my mind about stereotypes, about the past and the future of United States, about what civilization means, about culture and lack thereof, about right and wrong, but most importantly about how little we know the world beyond our little pond!
Could mean something to all of you or perhaps nothing at all .. do think !
